Welcome to Compassion London

Hello, I am based in Northwood, Greater London. I have been practising mindfulness for several years. I run Breathworks courses: 'Mindfulness for Health' and 'Mindfulness for Stress'.

These courses introduce mindfulness in a structured and fun way so that over a few weeks you can develop a personal meditation practice.

Besides helping people living with chronic painful conditions, the tools have been found to be effective for enhancing wellbeing, reducing stress and coping better with difficulties in our daily lives. Please contact me for further information.

Mindfulness for all

Mindfulness is a state of awareness of present experience with friendly acceptance. This enables us to make better choices about how we respond to our experiences, even in difficult circumstances.

These meditation practices help us develop a new relationship with the conditions we find ourselves in, and we begin to respond in ways that ultimately lead to a more peaceful state of mind.

These practices are accessible to all, regardless of cultural or racial background, faith, age or sexual orientation.

This course is secular with no requirement to adhere to a particular belief system and encourages you to focus on your own experience.

About the Course

I offer two Breathworks courses: 'Mindfulness for Stress' and 'Mindfulness for Health'. I have found the approach to be simple to understand, clear to follow and very effective. After five years of delivering this programme, I continue to share the enriching experience with my participants.

It is held once a week, for 8 weeks (click here for the next course). You can do it with a group, or one to one - online or in person. The sessions are delivered in the form of interactive workshops. Each session begins with a led meditation, followed by some teaching using enactments and interactive discussion.

The meditations can be based on the breath, the body or gentle movements. There is a break for tea and the session ends by going over specific practices to do at home. By the end of 8 weeks most people are able to establish a practice and begin to notice the benefits.
